This is part 1 of an ongoing series
On May 31, 2014, two 12-year-old girls lured their friend into the woods and stabbed her 19 times. They did it to appease Slenderman, a creepy supernatural meme. He is described as being a tall, faceless humanoid who wears a black suit and preys on children. The little girl who was stabbed in the woods survived by dragging herself to the side of the road. A bicyclist found her and called 911. The two girls who stabbed her, Morgan Geyser and Anissa Weier, were found searching the woods for Slenderman’s castle so that they could become his proxies.
